Baked apples

Fernanda's advice

For this recipe, we prefer apples with the skin on, so we choose organic ones preferably at the market. I flavor them with organic lemon peels and I also like to use vanilla beans or cinnamon.

To ensure that the apples hold up well during cooking, I recommend choosing a firm apple such as a Reine des Reinettes or a Canadian grey kidney.

The recipe

Base 4 person | Very easy


  • 4 apples
  • Some lemon zest
  • 100 g brown sugar


– Preheat oven to 160°
– Core the apples and place them in a dish
(even nicer in a dish from Revol Porcelain)
– Place the lemon peel in the middle of each apple
– Bake for 50 min
– Allow the apples to cool in the oven
(the apples will stew)
– Enjoy warm
